A spacecraft on an asteroid,
across the galaxy,
on the monitor,
in my eyes.
Brings to mind
my place
among worlds
in the open plan.
Spangled domes,
fireworks in headphones,
projected connectomes,
lighting up eyes
in ergonomic chairs;
Life support systems for
Creators, Explorers, Destroyers, Sustainers,
on retainer,
making targets relevant.
Cosmic forces focused
on the North Star
of distraction
